San Luis Obispo Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services in the San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County area of California. Services include but are not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, and related work.
All services are performed by licensed and insured contractors. Service availability is subject to scheduling, geographic coverage, and project scope. We reserve the right to decline projects that fall outside our service area or expertise.
All estimates provided by San Luis Obispo Insulation are free of charge and carry no obligation to proceed. Estimates are based on conditions observed during an on-site assessment. Final pricing may differ from an initial estimate if site conditions, scope, or materials change between the estimate and the start of work.
Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise noted. Price quotes are specific to the scope described in the estimate and do not apply to other projects or properties.
Scheduling is confirmed in writing (email or text) once both parties agree on a date and scope of work. We ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment.
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, equipment issues, or circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as soon as possible and work with you to find an alternative time.
Payment terms are outlined in the written estimate or contract provided before work begins. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the project.
We accept payment by check, cash, or electronic transfer. A deposit may be required for larger projects; if so, this will be stated in the written agreement before any work begins.
Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5 percent per month on the outstanding balance, as permitted by California law.
San Luis Obispo Insulation warrants that all work will be performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. If a defect in our workmanship is identified within one year of project completion, we will correct it at no additional charge, provided the defect is reported to us in writing within that period.
This warranty covers labor only. Manufacturer warranties on materials are separate and governed by the respective manufacturer. This warranty does not cover damage caused by third parties, misuse, or conditions outside the scope of the original project (such as water intrusion not addressed in the original scope of work).
You are responsible for providing accurate information about the property and conditions relevant to the project. You must ensure our crew has safe and unobstructed access to the work areas on the scheduled date.
For spray foam projects that require temporary vacating of the premises, you are responsible for arranging alternative accommodations for yourself, your household, and any pets for the period specified by our crew before work begins.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, San Luis Obispo Insulation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to our services or your use of this website. This includes but is not limited to loss of income, loss of use, or damage to property not directly caused by our workmanship.
Our total liability for any claim related to a specific project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that project.
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You may not use this website to transmit spam, conduct fraud, or engage in any activity that violates applicable law. We reserve the right to restrict access to the website at our discretion.
All content on this website - including text, images, and layout - is the property of San Luis Obispo Insulation or used with permission. You may not reproduce or distribute website content without our written consent.
If a dispute arises between you and San Luis Obispo Insulation, we encourage you to contact us directly first at estimates@sanluisobispoinsulation.com so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in San Luis Obispo, CA, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party bears its own costs unless the arbitrator determines otherwise. The arbitrator's decision is final and binding.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in San Luis Obispo County, California.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
